IMS9000 allows you to keep track of the training and certification that your employees have achieved. The familiarization training tasks that an operator needs to operate or maintain each machine can also be stored. This creates a cross-reference between a machine and the employees who are certified to operate it. MSHA, OSHA and many insurance companies require these records.

Get to this screen from the menu by selecting Screens/Employees/Certificates and Licenses. The Training and Certification screen is where a training task is defined. Each task has a name and term length. If a task has no term length those fields are blank. To enter a new task place the cursor on the bottom most blank line and type the Training/Certification name. Next, enter the term length in numbers of units (3 Year(s)). Once the task is entered here it will show up on the employee list and machine detail screens the next time they are opened. Exit the screen by clicking on the button with the arrow pointing to the door.

In the Employee screen, where employee information is viewed or edited, all of an employee's current and past training is listed with dates of issue and expiration. Open this screen from the menu by selecting Screens/Employees/Employees Screen. Exit this screen by clicking the button with the arrow pointing to the door.
